Tulum: A Taste of Jalisco in Bellevue

Fun place for a relaxing bite. Loved the jungle, beachy decor. Two areas for outside dining. I got steak tacos. They were fresh and tasty. Look forward to coming back.

Nachos were good and the rest of the family enjoyed the tacos just felt like the prices were a bit high for what was offered. Don’t think we would come back at the current prices. Just isn’t a $17 plate of nachos in my opinion maybe if there were guacamole on top I would at least feel better about it. Good environment, music wasn’t too loud and seemed like the customers at the bar were enjoying the atmosphere.

A four-month-old restaurant/bar on the Avenue in Bellevue. Indoor dining with seasonal front and rear outdoor seating. Beautiful topical decor with ample seating. You order food as you enter which is delivered to your table. All drinks ordered separately at the bar. Menu uses family recipes from the Jalisco region in Mexico. We tried three different entrees and an appetizer. Great portions and delicious. Standard margaritas were terrific. All staff personable, helpful and prompt. New go-to place. We cannot wait to return.

So glad we finally made it to Tulum! We had the best experience - food/service/ambiance were superb. We ordered the queso (had a nice little kick) and the birria ramen, which was INSANE! It almost tasted like an elevated Skyline soup (def a good thing ). The restaurant is decorated super cute, including the outdoor area. They also have really cute glasses for their giant margs! Great music and fun vibes for sure. We sat at the bar and had the privilege of getting to hang out with Jake, the bartender. He was absolutely hysterical and kept us entertained and our glasses full. You can tell he loves where he works! Rae behind the bar was also a doll! We will totally be back, maybe too soon!

We stumbled upon Tulum when walking in Bellevue. The food and drinks we felt were priced really good for the quality and amount. The bartender was so personable and friendly.

Great addition to Bellevue. The interior is beautifully decorated and there are more tables than I expected. Plus a bar, with quite a few seats. It was very busy on the Tuesday we were there, and a plus was 20% off food as a “taco Tuesday” promo. The crowds did result in it being pretty loud inside though. When you walk in, there’s a window to the kitchen where you order and pay for food, and they’ll give you a number for your table. If you want drinks (including water), those are ordered/paid for at the bar. We ordered the birria tacos (order of 3), a shrimp taco, 2 steak tacos, chips and guacamole, and a large stuffed churro to split for dessert. This was a good amount of food for 2 people, and came to $38 (before tip) with the 20% discount. All of the food was great but highlights were the shrimp taco and guacamole and we look forward to ordering those on the next visit.

I ordered the birria tacos which were so delicious and the sprinkle of seasoning adds a dramatic treat for your taste buds. It was truly authentic and delicious. Definitely hits the crave spot for birria tacos.

Fun spot, good food, really liked the quesadillas and birria tacos. Great guacamole and margaritas. Service was friendly and casual. Good vibes, quirky fun decor, had a nice time sitting at the bar, will definitely go back.
